Working as an RGN Nurse
RGN Nurses are responsible for a range of duties, including assessing and diagnosing those who are unwell, administering treatments and medications, and providing ongoing care and support to residents and their families. Almost all our RGN nurses work in a community setting, offering support to residents in care or those that reside in their own home.
At Alert Health 24, we work with a wide range of care homes across the UK, from small independent homes to large national chains. We understand the unique challenges that each care home faces and that's why we look to place our nurses into the places they feel most comfortable.
Life as an RGN Nurse
Alert Health 24 recommend a minimum of two years experience working as an RGN nurse in a residential care or similar setting, possessing the equivalent of a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care. Nurses are also expected to be compassionate individuals who possess excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
