Staff Promotion and launch into new area

We have some very exciting news to announce… Vicky, our Healthcare Recruitment Consultant from our Somerset branch has recently been promoted to the role of Trainee Branch Manager and will be launching Alert Health 24 in a brand new area for us, Bath and North East Somerset (BANES).

Managing Director, Steve Churches said “Over the past 12-months Vicky has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure the success of our team. Her dedication and hard work have truly paid off, resulting in this opportunity to launch a branch in a brand-new area for us.

Regional Operations Manager (South), Aaron Merrett said “Vicky has consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment, professionalism and a strong work ethic since joining Alert Health just over a year ago."

We’re delighted to promote her into the role of Trainee Branch Manager and look forward to her success in launching and growing her BANES Branch over the coming weeks, months and years.

It was fantastic to catch up with Vicky and hear more about her new role and the BANES launch.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role as Trainee Manager? Building a fun dynamic and caring team of Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to deliver excellent care to services in the BANES team.

How do you plan to develop relationships with clients and healthcare staff in your new area?

By creating long lasting relationships through tailored care - great conversations, honesty, and the ability to help the services in their time of need.

Can you share a specific achievement or milestone from your previous role?

I secured a new significant client in the North Somerset area and have developed a new partnership contract with them which I was really pleased about.

Which part do you think you will find challenging?

Anything can be challenging until you have a plan and think outside of the box, I am confident in the task ahead and excited to grow this exciting new area.

What goals do you have for yourself in the coming year?

To develop a growing team of Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers/clients in the new year and become a/the leading agency in the area to support the local care sector in BANES.

If you had to be an animal, which animal would you be and why?

I would be a Dolphin - not sure why but they always look happy and having fun.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I am a lead singer for a rock cover band.
